Low Alloy H Steel is a structural steel based on carbon steel with a small amount of alloying elements (such as vanadium, titanium, niobium, molybdenum, chromium, nickel, etc.) added to enhance its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.

High Strength
Alloying elements such as molybdenum and chromium in Low Alloy H Steel can improve the hardness and strength of the steel, form a stable microstructure, and thus increase the tensile strength.
Excellent Welding Performance
The low carbon content (usually 0.18%–0.24 %) of low alloy H-beams significantly improves their welding performance. The low carbon content can reduce thermal cracking during welding and avoid stress concentration on the surface and internal structure of the steel during welding, thereby ensuring the quality of welding.
Good Corrosion Resistance
Elements such as chromium and nickel can form a stable oxide film on the surface of Low Alloy H Steel to prevent erosion by external moisture and gas. Compared with ordinary carbon steel, the corrosion resistance of low alloy H-beams is improved by 30%–50 %.
