NM400 Wear Resistant Steel Plate is a medium-to-high strength wear-resistant steel plate developed for high wear and high impact environments. It is mainly composed of alloy elements such as carbon, manganese, and chromium, and is produced through advanced controlled rolling and controlled cooling technology, and quenching and tempering heat treatment process.

Good wear resistance
Through the quenching and tempering heat treatment process, the NM400 Wear Resistant Steel Plate achieves a surface hardness of 370–450 HBW, which is about 2 times higher than ordinary structural steel. The controlled rolling and cooling process further refines the grains, enhances the wear dispersion ability, reduces the wear rate, and reduces the wear amount by more than 60% compared with ordinary carbon steel.
High strength
The use of precision-controlled rolling and controlled cooling technology, combined with micro-alloying elements such as vanadium, niobium, and titanium, can significantly refine the grains, so that the yield strength of NM400 Wear Resistant Steel Plate reaches ≥1000 MPa, and the tensile strength reaches ≥1200 MPa, which can withstand high load impact and continuous wear.
Excellent processability
Through controlled rolling and controlled cooling, a more uniform structure and smaller residual stress are obtained, so that NM400 Wear Resistant Steel Plate can still support conventional processing methods such as plasma cutting, gas cutting, welding, bending, etc., under high hardness, with high processing efficiency and adaptability to complex structure manufacturing.
